LIMERICK, Pa., May 09, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Teleflex Incorporated (NYSE:TFX) announced today that
Forrest R. Whittaker, president and chief operating officer of the
company's Medical Group has resigned. John J. Sickler, chairman of
Teleflex Medical and vice chairman of Teleflex Incorporated, will
assume the additional responsibilities of Medical Group president on
an interim basis. The company is in the process of a search for Mr.
Whittaker's successor. He had been president and chief operating
officer of Teleflex Medical since 2003.
