LIMERICK, Pa., Sep 29, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Teleflex Incorporated, a proud Industry Supporter of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), will showcase a number of airway and regional anesthesia products at the annual ASA meeting to be held in Chicago, Illinois on October 15-19, 2011. Teleflex will also highlight select vascular access products available under its Arrow(R) brand.

Teleflex will highlight:

• The Teleflex ISIS(R) HVT(TM) endotracheal tube features an integrated suction port and separate suction line allowing for subglottic secretion suctioning on demand. Now clinicians can be free from the burden of choosing which tube is best for the patient at the time of intubation. When needed, the suction tube attaches to the ISIS HVT via a secure locking connection.Both connection ports can be sealed upon disconnection, reducing the likelihood of exposure to patient secretions when not in use. This versatile design allows for use of one endotracheal tube to meet the needs of patients requiring both short- and long-term ventilation.
• Arrow StimuQuik(R) ECHO peripheral nerve block needles are designed to help increase overall block success. StimuQuik ECHO's five etched rings help improve the visibility of the needle tip under ultrasound while maintaining the same clinician-inspired features of the standard StimuQuik needles.
• The Arrow ErgoPack(TM) System is an ergonomic packaging system for vascular access procedures designed to efficiently facilitate compliance with best practices, evidence-based medicine, guidelines and recommendations from organizations to reduce the risk of Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infections.
• Hands-On Educational Opportunities at the Teleflex booth (Booth #1012). At stations in the booth, ASA participants can examine Teleflex products on ultrasound and airway models to better understand their features and benefits.
