Teleflex to Focus on Advanced Interventional BTK (below the knee) Products at LINC 2015

WAYNE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 23, 2015-- Teleflex Incorporated (NYSE: TFX), a leading global provider of medical devices for critical care, urology and surgery, will showcase its Arrow® brand GPSCath® interventional product platform at the Leipzig Interventional Course (LINC) to be held in Leipzig, Germany on January 27 - 30, 2015.

During the event, the Company will highlight the Arrow® GPSCath® Balloon Dilatation Catheter, which features the VisioValve™ technology. The GPSCath® Catheter is a specialty two-in-one device that is indicated for percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) in the peripheral vasculature, including iliac, femoral, popliteal, infrapopliteal and renal arteries.

Teleflex is pleased to present a live case transmission with Dr. Ralf Langhoff from St. Gertrauden Krankenhaus, Berlin, Germany. The live case, entitled “A comprehensive approach to diabetic patient treatment,” can be attended at the GLOBAL EXPERT EXCHANGE FORUM, room 5, on Tuesday, January 27 at 13:46h – 14:08h.

Additionally, two Satellite Symposiums are scheduled. The first symposium entitled “BTK Complex: Using Arrow® GPSCath® Catheter to protect wire placement, reduce fluoroscopy while minimising contrast,” is presented by Dr. Michael Lichtenberg from Klinikum Arnsberg, Germany on Thursday, January 29, at 08:00h-09:30h in the Main Arena 1. The second symposium is presented by Prof. Miloslav Roček (Prague, Czech Republic) and is entitled “BTK Strategies: New way in treating crural arteries using Arrow® GPSCath® Catheter with VisioValve™ technology to reduce contrast and procedural time.” It will be held on Thursday, January 29, at 13:30h-16.30h, at Technical Forum, room 3.
